How to describe Pop Machine to someone who knows nothing about it? "Smart-Ass Pop Rock" has been one phrase used in the past. Other phrases used cannot be repeated in polite company.
The members of Pop Machine feel that the effete foot of fate has brought them together for one purpose: to make fun of every genre and sub-genre of rock music so far invented, as well as those yet to come. Sure, they do have many moments of non-satirical pop-rock bliss, but mostly they are into having fun with their music. They do take their own brand of musical fun very seriously though, and are ready, willing and able to stack themselves up against all comers for sheer entertainment value.
